Kid City!

Kid City is an area and set of programs at Caz Northwest set up for the needs of 2-to 5-year-olds. Instructors teach age-appropriate classes in music and dance. Performers stop by throughout the week. We take short outings to find shells on the waterfront or explore nature around the campground. Parents are always welcome to join us, or they can focus on their own classes during Kid City hours.

Kid City is run by Iris DeSerio, teacher and director of a Montessori preschool. She grew up attending Caz Family Camp in California. Iris loves Caz Camp because it allows children and their families to be their full selves at camp and thrive together.

Classes at Caz

Professional artist-educators at Caz Northwest offer a variety of art and creativity classes. Depending on the material and approach, some classes are restricted to a particular age range. Many art forms are offered, including visual, musical, theater, movement and writing. Our camp directors and instructors are currently developing a rich collection of offerings for this summer, which will be unveiled in about a month. In the meantime, here is a sampling of what was offered during the 2024 summer session.
